Overview - Mareeba

Known Australia wide for the annual Mareeba Rodeo, the committee branched out in 2007 to stage a stand alone Bull Ride event.

On the 28 April 2012, the Bullriding Tour will be staged at Kerribee Park, Mareeba, and will showcase the North’s best bull-riders in a rock-concert style, entertainment extravaganza.

There will be 50 explosive bull rides over the night with a format of 2 rounds and the top 10 scoring bull-riders going into a championship round. They then ride for $2000, winner take all, as the bull-riders battle it out to stay upright for 8 seconds atop some of the toughest, most bad-tempered, 900 kilogram bulls around.

Live entertainment will be provided until 2am. Families will not miss out on the action & entertainment, with an area reserved to view the event.
