Overview - Mareeba

Known Australia wide for the annual Mareeba Rodeo, the committee branched out in 2007 to stage a stand alone Bull Ride event.

On 23 April 2010, the Bullriding Tour will be staged in Mareeba and will showcase the North’s best bull-riders in a rock-concert style, entertainment extravaganza.

There will be 50 explosive bullrides over the night with a format of 2 rounds and the top 10 scoring bull-riders going into a championship round. They then ride for $5000, winner take all, as the bull-riders battle it out to stay upright for 8 seconds atop some of the toughest, most bad-tempered, 900 kilogram bulls around.

The 2010 event will see some exciting additions to the production including playback on the big screen which will allow fans and competitors to see each ride up close and personal at the conclusion of the live Bull Ride. The screen along with live entertainment will be provided in the Bronc Bar until 2am. Families will not miss out with an area reserved beside the Bronc bar to view the entertainment and big screen.

Gold Bullride Package - $1200 each + GST
